Beach

Shawn took Monday off and we decided to go to the beach! Usually we go to Corona del Mar, since there is a parking lot and easy access, but the down side is that you have to take the toll road (which costs about $10) and then parking is now a whoping $15 (thank you Arnold). So we decided to cross our fingers and attempt Newport. There is less parking, but it's metered and much cheaper. We got there at 11:30 and found parking no problem! When we left at 2 however, people were duking it out for our spot!! The kids had a great time, the weather was awesome, and we enjoyed our extra day with Shawn!!
