An eventful month

This month should be interesting, and hopefully we will know alot more about our families future!

Caleb's (DJ's) court hearing to terminate his mothers parental rights and officially release him for adoption is set for Wed the 6th. The social worker says that all they will do is schedule a trial, but still, at least it's progress! He is doing so well! Now that Paige walks, he is trying so hard. The most he's taken so far is 6 steps - he's doing great!

Nolan & Paige have court on the 12th. Their mom has not visited or tried to contact to see them since April 30th. She had a major relapse and knows that she will not be getting the kids back now. This hearing will be terminating her services, so that the county will not be paying for her to go back to rehab (for a 4th time!). Then from there they will schedule a hearing for 4 months from now to terminate her rights and release them for adoption as well. FINALLY! It's about time something is done for these poor babies. Nolans been in foster care for 16 months now - half of his life!

We will also be hearing about wether or not we will be getting a fourth child. We have submitted our home study for a 4 year old girl (named Marissa!). Her social worker will be making her decision nearing the end of this month. So please pray for her that she be placed with the family she is meant to be with, she really deserves a family.
